Isle of Darkness is a texted based "RPG" game.

Isle of Darkness is a texted based "RPG" that has many players
that play on the game. It is based to be a dark and evil "RPG"
with hour and a half game play. The rules are simple they are as
follows: No talking about real life unless in dwellings or ye
old mail, stick to your role play, no more than two accounts on
the same IP address, and no disrespecting staffers. Play the
game and stick to the rules of the game and you'll do fine. Role
playing games are very tricky to keep up with and very hard to
stay on track, but once you get the hang of one "RPG" you can
set your mind to many of the texted based "RPG's". Owlmoons was a texted based "RPG" it's now shut down due to not
many people following the rules set in place, but also because
they had not gotten enough donations to stay up and running. To
have a texted based "RPG" to run smoothly you need players whom
will listen to the rules and also to enforce the rules the owner
has set in place. The people that had created accounts on
Owlmoons wanted to play yet they didn't want to play by the
rules that had been set into place. Tynastera (TY) is a sister site to Isle of Darkness (IOD) it
operates on the same rules as "IOD" has. "TY" is a much
different site than "IOD" "TY" is based upon nothing at all
exactly. It has many themes tossed together into just one site
it has been opened for nearly four years now and keeps growing
and growing. Out of all the sites that have been around "TY" and
"IOD" are two of the ones that are very different from many of
the other "RPG" texted based sites. Most look alike, but these
two are not alike at all. With all the "RPG's" out there it would take forever to name
them all in one place. You could try but it'd be hard because
not everyone knows all the "RPG's" out there. With all the times
that people look up role playing games they still never find
them all and even if they can there are new ones popping up all
the time. With everything you try to find with the "RPG's" you
can not find everything there is to know about a role playing
game without playing the game. If you try to find an "RPG" don't
jump into the game right away and start playing work with a role
play story line and go from there. Take your time trying to find
a great role playing game that you'll love and when you do try
our your role play story line and see how it goes and then
you'll probably understand the attraction to the role playing
game community. Role playing just isn't about playing a game it
is about having time to relax and just talk to people you don't
know except in fantasy world.
